In case of death, I plan to stop posting. The forums alarm bells should sound soon after that. Or the more likely scenario is no one will notice.

I used to have a dead man's script running, but I got pissed off at myself and deleted it.

Creating a new one has been on my priority list for a while now. With the old one, in event that it doesn't see me in the designated time frame (which I didn't have set to ever day), it attempts to contact me, repeatedly, for another brief period of time. If I don't respond shortly, it will then dispatch emails to certain people that are close to me, including a couple of members of AnandTech Forums, telling them the reason for the communication, and asking them to contact me. That communication also informs those trusted individuals how to delay the final message deployment, notifying several more people that have gone terribly wrong.

I've also considered signing up for some service such as AccuTracking, 3dtracking, or something like that, which is notified of my current GPS position by my cell phone in narrow intervals. I'd put the account username/password in the first email that goes out (just to the "trusted individuals") so that they might have a chance of locating me, if I have my cell phone with me. If I have my cell phone with me, though, the script should be able to find me in the first place - not a good solution, I know, but nonetheless... perhaps knowing where my phone was last seen could be beneficial if I disappear for unknown reasons.

I've put an outrageous amount of thought into this. Y'all have no idea. lol

I'm having various parts of my body hacked off, frozen and sent to certain members of the forums. Then the anonymous phone calls to the police start.

At the same time, I am thinking, "That is awesome. I need to figure out how to do that!" and "That is really sad. What a loser!"

I am mostly lean towards the former at the moment, but the latter somehow seems more appropriate.

I'd probably do something big before I go. That's assuming ATOT is still around at the time, right?

I'll be dead, I won't care. Hopefully I'll be with those 60-70-something virgins. That would be females, not you guys.

60-70-something is a bit old for my taste but it's your fantasy so dream away.

Yeah but they lived to 60-70-something as virgins. Probably not by choice.
