Even the seemingly endless supply of Mosin-Nagants is being dried up across most of the wholesalers. :Q

I've been looking for an M44 to go alongside my 91/30 sniper and they are definitely getting harder to find.

not online. every dealer i have listed as a C&R dealer has mosin nagants and they haven't gone up in price that i can see.

Which ones have M44/M38s in stock?

I'm not seeing them online either. It's one thing to list it, another to have it in stock. Hell, if J&G doesn't have them, who does?

i just said mosin nagants, not m44s. Century Arms International has a few m44s on their site.

I was going to check SOG but they changed their website and I can't log in now. Looks like I have to wait for them to approve my new account and FFL.

here's one too

the lack of concern on your part about this is rather appalling.

Yes, let's blame homeowners for being robbed. That's a good policy. Unless he handed a gun to a known criminal, he has absolutely zero blame. A gun is a piece of property. Nothing else.

Every gun owner should have a safe bolted to the floor. It's irresponsible not to because white supremacists, gangs, cartels etc will probably end up killing someone with your stolen gun. While you did not materially participate your negligence aided it. Unless you're heartless and brainless anyone can see this.

Guns are pulled out of criminals hands daily and only stupid owners who get them stolen can keep up the black market supply.

Also, now you're fucked. Can't get an AR and Obama will probably ban them as we know them. Insurance dudutable is probably higher than 1 gun and most insurances only cover $2000 in guns. So a $600 safe is a great investment.

Looks like there are a few singles from smaller dealers out there but the big lots are gone for the moment.

On a side note J&G is selling Turk 8mm Mauser ammo in 70rd bandoleers for $20. I bought a pile of this for $3/70 a couple years ago. I could buy a decent used car with the difference.

Agreed - Guns should either in your person and/or in the safe. Anything else is irresponsible IMO.

It may not be wise at certain times and places, but it's hardly irresponsible or negligent to leave a possession in one's homes, gun or otherwise. This whole idea that guns are somehow different or that law abiding citizens should have to go out of their way because of criminals is lunacy.

I would not make a law if thats what you mean but it's prudent to have a gun safe for lots of reasons. (children, criminals, insurance, jewelry can keep important paperwork and so on)

Prudent I would agree with.

Also, I heard that Obama's administration tried to reintroduce a bill very similar to the 94 Assault Weapons Ban, but that Pelosi and several of the other Democrat leaders actually blocked it from moving forward. Apparently they didn't want a repeat of the massive reaction to the bill after it was passed and the House and Senate shifted towards Republican control."

NRA has to spend the money the fools give them on something, might as well be on the boogeyman

Do I know you? You seem to know me pretty well, and despise me. I wasn't even aware of your existence. Sorry, I'm not actually a horrible person. If you'd like, we could get to know each other over PMs or something.

The fact that two firearms that I owned and cared for are now out of my control and possibly contributing to further crimes in my city IS something I worry about and feel bad about.

Damnit, you're such a jackass - you have no idea how or why my firearms were able to be stolen. It's okay though, fear not - this is the internets where nobody has to know the full story to suddenly grow furious with righteous indignation at the utter and appalling stupidity of people like myself.

So with this thinking if someone stole my car and got into a head on that killed someone then somehow I am irresponsible or at fault?

I am all for safes (actually have a couple) but if someone breaks into your home and steals a gun that is a crime. There is no code that anyone with a gun is morally responsible to fortify its position. Anything that I have in my house I am planning on not getting stolen.

You could make the same arguement about anything stolen in a burglary.

What about cash?

"You didn't secure your cash so know white supremacists, gangs, cartels etc will probably end up using your cash to traffic drugs and buy guns to kill someone all because you didn't secure your cash" <---your logic

See how stupid it sounds? Guns are nothing but material property just like anything else.

I have gone to a few over the last few months.
Ammo has been high since the economy went down (last year).

You are right about ARs though. You can't even touch an AR for under $1000.
Colt, Bushmaster, S&W, etc are all over $1500.

This EXACT same thing happened when Clinton took office.
