The girl I'm seeing got me to try it. I put it to my mouth, breathed in deep, and felt this sharp pain hit my right lung (I mean SHARP). I immediately coughed, and all the smoke came out, and never will I try that crap again.

But am I OK? I haven't been able to stop coughing at all this morning, and my throat is really dry...

You can smoke an occasional cigarette and not suffer any long term health repercussions.

Right, because trying a cigarette and trying methamphetamines are the same thing.

no, but being persuaded into trying a cigarette and being persuaded into trying a drug aren't too far off in my book.

both have happened before- to unsuspecting, easily convinced individuals like the OP. all it takes is a cute girl and a spoon.

Most people are dumb enough to try anything once. You must not have believed that cigarettes are bad for you and that they make you feel good!

Lesson learned.

if you can resist the nicotine. It's very difficult to smoke a cigarette "occasionally" and not get hooked.
