So I took my galaxy s4 out of its case after like three months.

Yeah, I alternate between a Spigen Neo Hybrid case and naked a lot with my GS4. I prefer without the case but when I'm doing something that increases my chances of dropping the phone or if I know someone else will be handling it, then it goes back into the case.

The GS4 is a sleek, compact and light phone so putting it in a case just makes it feel rather bulky.

Honestly I prefer it with the Neo Hybrid than naked, it makes the buttons better. I get compliments on that case all the time.

Still stuck on an iPhone 4 so I do have a case for bumpergate. I prefer using my phones without a case though.

What's the point of paying all that money for a small phone just to bulk it up with an expensive case and some crappy screen covering.

I have the Samsung Protective Cover+ case for my S4. Protects it well, but is very thin. I had a nice drop in the parking garage at work the other day where it slipped from my hand, I tipped it trying to catch it, and it flew into the air higher and came down right on the corner. Didn't even scratch the case!

Damn - can anyone tell me what option is black? I'm actually tempted as I really don't like the back on my work S4.

It's weird - I'm ok using my S4 with a Mime Feather Glass screen protector only, but find the Note 3 to look a little weird with the same setup. For some reason, I much prefer the S-view case + Feather Glass on my Note 3, even though it's much slimmer with the standard back and doesn't give much impact protection.

In the option box, (not where it says Additional Option.. the one above it) select S4 and then the first one listed is black.

I like mine without the case too, except it's easier to drop which is what I don't want to do without a case. I'm torn

I use to use skins, but they always eventually started to peal back and look terrible.

Once the square iPhones came out, I have gone with the smallest black bumper-type, with clear back, cases I can find. It is not as beautiful as the naked iPhone, but it provides good raised-edge protection for the screen and 100% scratch protection to the sides and back. I also put on a good anti-glare screen protector.

When I go to sell my phones, they are in mint condition and I get 100% of their resale value.

I also find naked phones to be too slippery and too small for comfortable use, at least for me.

Different phone, but I think the official Nexus 5 case almost makes the phone better. It fits the device perfectly, and the tiny bit of bulk it adds makes the phone feel better in my hand.
