Reading FTL?

Yeah, but you laughed about it after. You've abused your discipline by;

- Making a mockery of your style by "showing off"
- Laughing about it after inflicting pain on someone, that did not deserve it.

Irresponsible, FTL? I'd sure as hell would not allow that kind of sh!t to fly at my school.

He didn't do it on purpose. The fact that he enjoyed it is natural considering he didn't like the person he did it to. The law clearly cares about intent. Thus his intent is what matters, not whether or not he enjoyed it.

I find it funny how the OP kicked a girl by accident, apologized sincerely to her face, then proceeded to laugh about it afterwards. Then people come in here and act all judgmental, bitchy, and downright insane (read above) and somehow the OP is the badguy. If you don't find it funny don't worry about it. Some of us do, and it's harmless making some fun behind her back. We're not going to be hurting her feelings.

Agreed. It's not like he did it on purpose.

Ok, you repeatedly miss the point, and as remedial education is not my forte, I'll leave you to think on the following: "what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."

No. I would not have laughed had I witnessed a Chuck Norris fanboi round-house kick a girl in the throat while showing off his "leet skillz" in the same manner as the Star Wars kid with the light saber.

Well, I contend that most people would've laughed.

Do you and the OP go to the same elementary school? The only thing funny in this thread is the lack of intelligence exhibited by the OP and the people that indulge his ridiculous behavior. I would laugh my @$$ off if I saw the OP doing round house kicks, in fact, I'd love to see this on tape. Maybe he can be as popular as the star wars kid, but if I saw him kick a girl I would definitely give him a reason to wipe the smile off of his face.

HA! SEE you enjoy seeing people you don't like hurt to! Your only argument is that it was a girl he hit, but gender equality (enacted by women) tells us that women are the same as men, so any situation where you hit a guy you should also hit a girl. Feminism tells us so. And women started feminism.

how would it be funny if he accidently kicked a guy in the throat and he fell to the ground choking and coughing? It wouldn't be.

No, it would be histerical.

Isn't this one of those questions they ask serial killers? "Would you find it funny or enjoyable to watch somebody else get hurt?"

bingo. you're talking about a complete lack of empathy with another human being. the tendency to inflict pain on an "innocent" bystander - and actually derive pleasure from it.

There is a critical point here. Serial killers enjoy inflicted pain on others. Normal people enjoy seeing pain inflicted. It this case, it was an accident, so it places the OP in the latter category.

Not true. The law takes into account two factors: intent AND the actions of the individual.

Hence the differences in 1st degree murder, manslaughter, etc.

MANSLAUGHTER - The unlawful killing of a human being without malice or premeditation, either express or implied; distinguished from murder, which requires malicious intent.

Point taken, but there is no crime called "accidental assault".
