So, I just made a homemade pizza

ORANGE when it melted. WTF!!!

That's the original cheese piled in the background. There is nothing on the pizza except olive oil, zucchini, tomatoes, and cheese. The cheese is about twice as orange now as when I posted originally.

It was real mozzarella. The pizza had no meat, so it wasn't grease. Looks like someone poured melted Velvetta all over it. There has to be SOME sort of reason for it...

cheese will do that. It probably was grease. Some of the greasiest pizzas I ever made were just cheese (I ran a Little Caesars for years).

Just dab a paper towell across the top to soak it up.

Yeah I'd definitely need pics on this one. It could be because the cheese and sauce mixed a bit when it melted... but I make homemade pizzas all the time and the cheese never looks much different from what I'd see in a pizza place.

and you do realize cheese can contain grease depending on the brand you buy. Did you buy kraft shredded mozzerella? yeah that's the problem.
