So I go see The Matrix: Reloaded and a 4 year old sits down next to me...

My daughter was dying to see it. She was upset that I went on thursday without her. But she understood the reasoning behind it. (She also understood that if it were too bad for her to see, she wasn't going to see it.) If she had no interest in the movie, I wouldn't have taken her to it. (It would have been cheaper to get a babysitter.)

I personally didn't think the Matrix was that violent.

I didn't think it was too violent either. I mean, lots of kung fu moves... he kicked ass when the hundred Smiths was after him... but it wasn't all gory or violent like you would find in other movies.

Talking about bad parenting. We went to a 11:30PM showing of The Matrix thinking there wouldn't be kids going that late. But I guess that doesn't keep stupid parents from bringing their kid anyway. Half way through the movie, the kid started crying. Of course, it's WAAY past his bed time. This went on for about 30 minutes before she finally decided to walk out with the kids. Then everyone started to applaud. If I weren't too busy watching the movie, I would gave her a piece of my mind.

what kind of parent would bring a child to a midnight showing of a rated r movie?

Lol, I went with kt to that movie. To top it off, the sound system was horrendous in that theatre too. Btw, this was at the theatre on Main in Alhambra. It was my first and LAST time going there to see a flick.

...and doesn't say a single word the entire movie! :Q

I was extremely suprised. I was real worried when the little girl, and her parents, sat down right next to me. I thought the child would make a lot of noise and ruin the movie for me (and everyone else).

I still don't know about taking a 4 year old to a movie like The Matrix, but I must say she was very well behaved.

Little girl : "daddy why did that lady pee when she ate the cake?"

Dad: ".... "
