Considering that link is selling a combo (2) items, you are correct. You'd just need an SD card and you are set.

Flashing mine was scary! I had a heck of a time making the connection, the bent paper clip I was using was not working. I eventually got it to go - a few percent at a time. It stopped at 4% for a while. Eventually I got it up to 25% a few percent at a time, then I didn't have to keep it shorted to get to 100%. :)

O RLY?
There are rumors you can turn it into a TRANSFORMER d00d.
I am downloading the KitchenAid firmware because it will make a great mixer!!
With firmware, it can emulate ANY hardware. Like a GSM radio! Wow!
KitchenAide FTW! :disgust:
Yea! If it only had a fleshlight mod then your life would be complete!
Or mabey the suicide mod!

Way to be a worthless POS!

Which flash disk did you use? Why did you decide to go this route instead of using somehing that wouldnt require flashing? I am trying to decide between the two. It sort of upsets me that the solution you used means buyinga product I'll use for 5 minutes and never again.

my bf did that to mine. I have no idea how it works or what he did but I love it!

can you emulate gameboy advance sp games on it with using the fashcard?
I haven't tried putting gba games on my new flashcard but my gba flashcard works fine in my ds lite.

The M3 Mini SD goes into the GB Advanced slot and doesn't stick out, that combined with the Passme 3 key don't require flashing your DS and work great from what I've heard.

It sticks out if you are using a DS-Lite. The M3 mini-SD, as well as the Supercard mini-SD, are both the exact same size as a GBA cartridge. GBA cartridges stick out on the DS-Lite.

You will pay less for a passme device that you will use for 5 minutes and leave your DS slot free while you have your flashcart in the GBA slot than you will pay for the passkey that will stay in your DS slot while using the flashcart.

uhhh. you sure about that? I'm pretty sure it's the size of a gba cart, maybe a touch smaller... but definitely not flush.

Was my understanding but I'll double check. I'm not an expert, just been looking into myself to mod my DS Lite.

I am 200% positive that the M3 mini-sd sticks out on the DS-Lite and is flush with the normal DS. Same with the Supercard mini-sd. The only one that is available at the time, that sits flush with the DS-Lite, is the EZ Flash Lite 4 which I linked above.

Does this one REQUIRE flashing or will it work with the new passme 3 keys also?

that I'm not sure about. i still do not understand why one would use a passkey instead of flashing though ...

I've read a decent amount about people making paper weights out of flashing going bad, that would be my biggest concern, but apparently you can recover from a bad flash now days if it completed at least a few % of the process.

heh people who brick their DS's while flashing shouldn't even be handling an electronic device in the first place. a blind man could probably do it :)

while I'm confident I won't likely brick my DS, there's always that chance. anyway, it's only like $20-30 for piece of mind. Mine (superkey) works like a charm. However, I would still like to see someone make a superkey/passkey w/ a micro SD slot on it to bypass the need of the gba cart :) or at least a flush cart that uses micro/mini SD.... hey, I can dream...
