Got the Canon a40. Nice shots from my garden and I am very pleased with the image quality.
 
I'll host them but first I need to think of a domain and buy hosting from Dixiesys.com before their July 2 for 1 special ends.
 
Wow your Canon A40 took those pics?

Did you have to fuss around with manual modes at all or was it totally on auto pilot?
 
The only thing I did was to use the Superfine compression. Other than that, I used the auto mode hand-held. Camera picked everything else.

Damn that's pretty impressive, nice I like it. Those 2 pics were taken at 2 megapixel right?
 
Yessir!

I bought a 64 meg card, which can hold about 60 pics at that compression and resolution. Figure if that isnt enough I will just swap the 128 meg card from my PDA

I'll have to find a Hot Deal on some 256MB CF cards, gotta wait for another Dell coupon screw up.

Took one of the 'busa, but it was too big to upload. I'll play around with it a bit and shrink it to get it under the hosting limit.

The A40 compares pretty nice just numberwise. I suppose if I knew what everything meant it'd help a little bit more 😉

Correct. Pricewise the A40 wins but I don't think the S330 warrants the higher price at least for my simple needs. I'm just a n00b photographer who doesn't know his ISO from his OPP.
