I, unfortunately, opened and ate said can of chili last night. Upon opening it, it was clear. This can had been mislabeled; this was not chili, but dog food.

Gross. It was only edible after putting enough cheese in it to be stringy when you took a bite.

LOL...can you do woof woof now ?... ;)

Ahh you see what you didn't realize (and what the lawyers will tell you) is that they were referring to the fact that the container "contains" 3.5 servings. The aluminium can is what 20 grams? That's 5.7 grams of yummy metal filings per serving!!

NEW YORK CITY!?!?!?!?!?

years later, it's still funny

Interestingly enough, Pace Picante Sauce was purchased by Campbells, which is based out of Camden, New Jersey. Just a short drive away from New York City.

Now, I'm going to venture a guess that it's now manufactured near there; it's quite hilarious and likely the reason you don't see those commercials much any more.

Serving sizes seem unrealistically small in most food products, but come on...no one gets 3.5 servings out of a can of chili...hell, that won't cover a single hotdog or basket of fries...

And Americans are fat why? :D

There is only brand of canned chili that is any good. Wolf Brand.
The rest mostly suck, though the Bush's Best isn't bad.

Just because it's assembled in Texas doesn't mean the ingredients are from Texas, or even the southwest.
