My G/F on the other hand....she's got all kinds of cheap mpeg's she downloaded from god knows where. She sure as hell doesn't need to worry about the porn on my computer...she's got plenty of her own! ;)

When the girlfriend needs tons of porn, it says a lot about the boyfriend. Good job, Ladies' Man :D

I don't have porn, just thousands of pics and vids of scenic nature.

Fortunately, not too many people know what steganography is.

Really if you're into porn at home, not something that'll get you fired or something illegal, just let anyone that finds it know you love it. If you get any guff just yell "I'll fvck anything that moves!"

I used to run a pr0n server back when I lived/worked at an ISP. Every week or so I would download the entire contents of alt.binaries.pictures.erotica, alt.binaries.multimedia.erotica, alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.groupsex, alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.teen.fvck, alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.bestiality, etc. (Helps when you are on the same ethernet switch as the news server. ), and had a script to auto-thumbnail everything. Tried to create some heuristic filters to auto-categorize it since it was too much to actually look through, but those never worked very well.

Anywho, after this server was retired, I left it at the 'rents house for a few years & they sold it. I wonder what the old lady who bought it thought about the drive contents. ;) This was all on a mac so it would be pretty easy for a computer n00b to look through, not a Linux box.

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm? A tone of envy perhaps? I think you're just jealous because when I go to bed at night, my dick is in someone else's hand

P.S. She doesn't need it, she finds it highly amusing. Besides, she only watches any of it when I'm not home...

Not secure at all. I have it on an external HD, so that anyone who wants access to it can have easy access.

Use PF Magic's Magic Folders.

Or just display lots and lots of disturbing pornography to make them not want to look at your stuff.

system64 in the windows directory
plus two bat files that 'hide' and 'unhide' the files
one renames all .jpg to .jp3g
.avi to .av1
.mpg to .mp3g
.wmv to .vvmv

the other names them back

my wife is tech savvy :

mine isn't secure at all. anyone sitting at the computer could use it. but it isn't available over the network except as an admin share. the pw is 8 alphanumeric characters so good luck with that.

I don't actually have a porn collection.

But since I run linux, if I decided to create one or any area I didn't want people to have access to, I'd just leave it in an umount partition with permissions set.

Rename pr0n.avi (or .mpg, .mpeg) to something like test with no extension. When you want to view the file, just open up your video player and drag test into the player. Voila!

If it wasn't for p0rn, you'd see a lot of former WD/Seagate/Maxtor workers wondering in the streets. ;)

I do have a file naming system though: "MOMYOUDONTWAANAOPENTHIS-1.mpg" followed by "MOMYOUDONTWAANAOPENTHIS-2.mpg", etc

that is the best idea yet by far:thumbsup:
