We can speak in IM if you wish. I don't really have anything to hide, as I said above. PM me your AIM, ICQ, MSN, or yahoo ID and we will talk if you wish.
*shrug* Nothing better for me to do today, anyway.

None. I'll talk to anyone about anything concerning myself if they ask/want to hear it. And believe me, I have shit that most people don't want to hear.

Quite an awesome feeling.

Personality conflicts, to put it bluntly. He thought he never had to lift a finger for me - even on valentine's day, but expected me to constantly gift him with computer parts and attention whenever he wanted it. I still love him very much, but I couldn't take being used like that. It's been a few years, but I still think about him a lot. He is honestly the first person I have ever loved (and yes, I am 31).

All those IM programs, and you are lacking the only one that is halfway decent.

Yeah, I've got that line too, I actually have some minor PTSD, but I'll still talk. I take a "that which does not kill you makes you stronger" approach. It may be extremely painful to remember, but drawing up the memories reminds me of why I'm as strong as I'd like to think I am (depending on the context), and how far I've come.

Sounds a little cheesy, but hey...

I use trillian, I use none of those IM programs directly, just the protocols. I use xchat2 for IRC but never go there anymore, and I used to bother with a seperate client just for jabber, but most jabber servers/clients allow resending over aim, so I find it unnecessary.

The only thing remotely close to a "skeleton in the closet" that my family in general doesn't know about is that I got arrested for DUI. Most of my family never even sees me drink, I'm the guy who drinks water at a family get-together even when everyone else has wine or beer. But I started drinking a bit with a particular group of friends, and made a mistake in driving home when I shouldn't have. Not because I was drunk, but because the amount of alcohol in my blood was over the legal limit and the cop decided to pull me over when I was driving perfectly fine.

In the end it was reduced to improper driving, but other than my mom nobody in my family knew about it.

gtalk uses the jabber protocol, silly. that is what I just talked about.
The pay-for version does, but I am still running the free version. I may eventually buy it since I like it so much, but that is after I am over the financial difficulties plaguing me right now.

This is a continuance of an earlier conversation in this thread. If you had read more then the last post, you would see that as I have said more then once before, I have no skeletons in my closet.

Doesn't sound cheezy at all to me, I have been where you are now, and yes, it does help a lot airing those out, but it takes a good deal of time for those wounds to stop smarting when they are left to open air to heal.
