So how many others are buying new hardware for Doom 3?

i'm not upgrading specifically for D3, but i will be getting a GT sometime soon. I just do it for coolness factor.

I don't care about Doom 3 but I did upgrade my graphics card for Battlefield Vietnam a few months back and it make a stunning difference.

if my 2800+ and Radeon 9800 can't play Doom 3 then thats too bad, I will not be buying new hardware for this game.

I guess they're not aiming for the top 10% of the gamers with X800s and 6800s.
