Assuming the average age here on AT is below the average age of a person who runs for the presidency, I wonder how many people over 35 years old would fit the bill.

I'm pretty sure that there's nothing to be found; but the atheism would probably sink me pretty quickly, outside of a few select areas.

I can't wait until we see the first major candidate for office have their myspace profile from 20 years ago get dragged through the mud :p
Of course that's about 20 years away :( It should be a good one though :D

that's my delimma, as well. you just don't talk about religion and your fine. or start small (city/county politics) and establish a LONG reportoire (think 15-20 yrs of service) and let your time dealing with real and important issues like zoning, congestion, and taxes speak for itself.

i'm giving too much of my scheme away.

As soon as the country wants some in office who is...

more sexually liberated than Tommy Lee

More of an isolationist than Pat Buchanan.

And standing first in line on the right of the fiscal conservative group...

feel free to give me a call, I'll take a run at it.

I think the current administration proves that you don't need a clean record to run and win.
