With the majority of my gf's, I'd known them for some time with no real "dating", but in the right casual situations start kissing, and setting up "dates" would follow. So is the answer for me zero? I'm confused now...

isn't it standard policy to give your man a kiss at the end of the first date, assuming it wasn't a total flop?
 
we didn't really date.

we were friends for a couple of months.

after one night of partying, he said he liked me and I said I liked him...so we were an "item".

We were an item at five in the morning and got my first kiss that night. mmmmm....🙂
 
Nearly every girl I've dated I have kissed on the first actual date. Unless the date was horrible, you should be getting some lip-lockage on the first date...
