I loved my old Ti4800, but these days it would be the absolute bare minimum for modern games imo.

I still have a Ti4200 in my "old" P4 2.8 machine. Plays CSS, HL2, UT2004 and Guild Wars among others marvelously.

Best money I've ever spent on a graphics card - bar none.

agreed!

I 3rd it. still use it, and it works fine.

Been there done that. One of the reasons why I can't even afford moths to fly out of my wallet when I open it. What year and model supra?

Well, I haven't really found one yet, still looking. I'm looking for a 94-97 TT 6 speed. I figure I'll put about 15k into it, netting me around 900 rwhp (along with cosmetics).

Yet, something tells me that I should save my money and put it to better use (I'm 18 in college :( ).

EDIT: I am able to afford this car ONLY because I have sold many things and have saved since day 1 on earth. I have nothing except for a computer because everything has been sold. This car will be the only "fun" thing in my life, so please don't rant about how I'm 18 buying this car.

Turtle Beach S.C.
XFX TI4200 128 Meg

Well, for one, this computer rocks!!! I play cs at 1280x1024 with no problems, WC3 FT at 1280x1024 with everything on high, NFSMW at 1024x768 with medium image quaility. There are no hickups whatsoever, and so now I am pushing my luck and installing F.E.A.R. Will let you guys know how it goes :).

Btw, this rig was about $100~. Not bad for a computer that exceeds MY needs.

Found this recent review of the Geforce4 Ti4200 being benchmarked with new games like Serious Sam 2, Earth 2160, Quake4, World Rally 2 etc etc! :)

apart from 2005-released fast paced FPS', my Ti4400 for my home computer runs everything really well. Ive played FEAR on my new computer with 6800NU unlocked, and it doent really keep my attention.
