So how did YOU discover Anandtech?

Was mentioned as good place for reviews of hardware in the "comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware" newsgroup way back when Anand first came on the scene. Never went to the forums until a atleast couple of years later.

I was on the MaxPC fourms (ugghh!) and I kept hearing about this guy at "Anandtech" that sold Optical mice cheap and I need one so I came over and was hooked!

I came over from AGN...how I got there....who knows...I had just started building my own computer and found the For Sale forum there...man the deals there were great...I don't do much trading here anymore...

Yup me too, I remmeber during some classes just browsing though the cool cases gallery. There was a blurb in the forums about anandtech.com so I came over to take a look see.

Believe it or not, one day way back when, my GF told me she found this place I should check out. I wasn't really into anything concrete on the internet at the time, didn't "belong" to anything. But I came here anyway, checked the place out, noticed all the neffing going on here, and decided to stick around. Been here (off & on) ever since.

I have no idea how my GF found AnandTech.......probably the Hot Deals forum
