i just saw it, pretty fvcked up.

Almost as bad as making a bunch of prisoners sodimize each other and making them get undressed and threatening them with a dog who intends to bite off their genitals, then taking pictures of the whole ordeal and spreading them around.

ALMOST as bad??? Wow...you're right. They only killed him...how dare we humilate someone or abuse them...and scaring them...such animals we are. We should have just killed them too. Then I suppose we'd be almost as good as them.

you do realize that to most of these hardcore muslim men, sodomy and sexual relations with another man is a mortal sin. many of them might have prefered death to that kind of abuse. just because your values dictate otherwise doesn't mean theirs do.

imagine the worse thing someone can do to you, your brothers, your children, and your family. Would that worse thing be death? IMO there are a lot worse things then death. and some of the disgusting atrocities that those red neck yokels in uniforms did might not bother you but it really pissed off those guys who murdered that man.

everyone can expect more retribution from the "terrorists" while people in the people in prisons are being treated like garbage.

and ask yourself this, if someone humliated your family like the US soliders did to those prisoners, would you want revenge? would you want retribution? would you want justice? would you want to kill someone? could you be soo angry that you would find the first one of theirs you could and cut his head off?

murdering an innocent man is never justifiable, all i am saying is that it is understandable.

:confused::Q:disgust::|
What..the...fvck.

No...just..no.

thats a little vauge you want to explain yourself? what about my point do you disagree with?

It's really not as bad as I thought it would be.. I mean it's surely very disturbing, but.... it could be worse.

Yeah, go ahead and get all angry at me and take my words out of context.

I never said that I didn't feel remorse. The video gave me chills, and I had my jaw clenched tight the whole time. It's not like I enjoyed it for Christ's sake. It's disgusting.

I was talking about the video. I was just saying that it isn't really as bad as it could've been. Not the act itself, but the video. What if it was a 640x480 HDTV closeup or something?

Geez.

Now your lying Elie. You werent at all talking about the video. You took my angry icon out of context. I was angry because you said it could be worse, which means your a dumbass.
WTF? How do you figure I'm lying?

Do I have to just repeat my original statement again or something? The video quality sucks, it's barely even in color. It is not nearly as gruesome as it could've been. The only really bad part, like I said, is when they hold his head up with the dangly bits. It is very disgusting and very wrong, but we're not talking closeups or high quality video here. That's all I was trying to say.

Dear lord.

watched it.. wasn't impressed. this is a war people, not a picnic. people die and get torchered in war. hell as far as war goes this is pretty mild, not even sure it deserves to be caled a war. all the deaths over there combined would be about equal to a days worth in previous wars. same thing goes for those people upset over that prison scandal thing , what a joke. some prisoners in some prison get played with and everyone throws a hissy fit, if the media needs somebody to feel sorry for, how about going to visit some of the survivors from the bataan death march.

It's amazing how many people say this happened because of the prison photos. Was there photos when 9/11 happened? Was there photos when the first journalist was murdered? Was there photos when we saw American bodies burned and dragged through the streets? No. It was just the savage acts of terrorists. Now because some prison photos surface, everything bad that happens will be blamed on them. Wake up people. This kind of thing has been going on long befoe the war was even started, and saying it was them "getting even" is just absurd.

They'll say anything to justify their terrorism.

Ugh... Those people should be happy that I'm not the President of the United States because if I was, I sure would have a lot of fun with those stored nukes...

Just as you and your redneck ilk will say anything to justify making a nickel off of a sodapop cap.

Don't mind "Nik". He's just a toolbox who's pissed his Dunkin' Donuts coffee isn't as sweet as he'd like it. That, and a lanky as kid whose biggest drama was securing his playboy subscription address.

Once again, you fall back on blaming the photos. If thats the only reason, why have we seen such horrors from the middle east befoe then? This kind of thing has been going on long before that prison was even used by the US.

As for sexual abuse, isn't that what the rape squads did to thier own people? They did this to thier own people daily. The pictures aren't a motive for the murder, they are an excuse.

Well maybe, if I could cut off the head of the person doing the original harm, but just some random guy (not even a soldier)? No way. These people needed no excuse for the horror they bestowed upon Nick Berg.

Call me a sick bastard (and watching it w/o audio probably had a lot to do with it), but when I saw the head hanging at the end the first thing that popped into my head was Sub Zero's originally fatality from Motrtal Kombat. The masked man + the dangling . . . whatever it was did it.

I downloaded it and watched it yesterday. Bothered me on a very deep level. This morning I deleted it. Don't ever want to see it again. My thought is how can a person do it? How does one bring oneself to take a knife and "saw" another human beings head off? I don't get it...I guess you have to be a sick bastard...

Since Zarqawi was the executioner it kinda destroys the whole "there is no link between Al-Quida and Iraq " doesn't it?

Saddam has been out of power for a long time now. There are likely Al Queda, and every other western-hating extremist group among the insurgents that have infiltrated Iraq.

No I did not and will not watch that video, no thank you.

How so? You do realize there is a difference between AQ being there now, and having a connection to Saddam and Iraq right? Also, if this guy is Zarqawi, WhyTF did he bother with a hood?

#1...what I am trying to point out is that since all the anti Bush/anti war people continue to cite the fact that there was no link between Iraq and AQ BEFORE the war and then when Saddam fell from power they all of a sudden appeared in Iraq AFTER? you mean that WITH Saddam in power there was no possible way that that they were already there?...please.

#2....Why do ANY terroists wear hoods?
