I used to be a big fan, but their job application process is extremely pretentious and really cast a negative light on what they think of themselves for me. We have a local company that I used to think was among the most pretentious companies I'd seen. They make you take long exams and only allow people with certain GPAs even if they've been in the industry for 20 years. Google blows them away just with the first part of the application process. I've never seen a company ask how many world records and inventions you have before they'll even let you submit a resume.
lol so you hate them because you can't get a job with them. That's a stupid reason - you have to realize they are one of the top companies to work for and they might as well get the best of the best. If you ran Google, you'd be doing the same thing I'd guess. (at least I probably would)
Though I do see what you mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure they think very highly of themselves.
