Bask in my glory! My wife asked me last night what I wanted for Mother's Day.
So apparently Mother's Day = Wife's Day, and I have to waste more money
Let's see... lifer who has been here for 6 years. There should be way more than enough information here to track you down.
[/B]So, what are you getting *me* for mother's day, such that I don't call your wife and give her a link to this thread.
I got in trouble the first year because I didn't get anything. Then last year I got just flowers and of course she got butthurt.
What do I get her for Wife's Day?
edit: hah, yes we have kids
Nothing. She isn't your mother. After a few years she will get the picture.
Just make sure she gets something from the kids.

The real question here is why hasn't she divorced your cheap ass yet.
It's a fake holiday manufactured by jewelers, florists, card makers etc. What else is new. That's why they have the big bucks and laugh at us peons who don't have their own islands. No way to get out of it.
As an aside, here's an interesting article on where your flowers will come from.

What's Valentine's Day and Anniversary for??
Exactly, she's the mother of my KIDS, but not my mother. The KIDS should celebrate their mother.
Guess that's 2 of us.you, sir, are a dipshit. when the kids are little its your responsibility to make sure the kids get her something. you dont give her crap.
You should be thankful you don't have to do Christmas or her birthday in addition to those. What's Valentine's Day and Anniversary for??

Today is Mother's Day.
So what did you get her?
Not bad...I gave in and bought her a $100 kitchen knife she's been talking about along with the photo card from cvs.
