Obviously she did not tell you ALL the information. If you want more details ask her rather than anantech. If you are not comfortable asking then perhaps you ARE over stepping your bounds.

You're right she didn't tell me every little detail, and it's her option not to. I am not asking AT for more details, I am just asking if it is most likely a chem abortion or if there is something else that it is more likely.

So because you weren't satisfied with what information she wanted you to have, you decide to try to discearn more about her situation then she was willing to tell you?

The others are dead right on this. Butt out of her life and get your nose in your own.

I said that her choice to do an adoption I agree with, because I do on my own.

You agree with her as long as she chooses adoption? Just mind your own business, maybe she doesn't want to do adoption.

Frankly I don't care if she does adoption, abortion, or keeps the child (if in fact she is). I am pro-choice actually, and believe abortion should be legal at least through the second trimester if not the third. That is completely another topic entirely though so we won't go into it.

I have yet to see how I am not minding my own business. I am curious as to if thats what it could be or not. It has no bearing on me if it is or isnt. I am not saying anything to her about it, she is the one who says it to me. I have not brought it up or even talked about it, unless she brings it up. As I have said I told her I am here for her, and from there on it is her choice if she wants to talk to me about things or not.

This post... is really making me do a "WTF" face. You don't care what she does, but you make a post about it trying to find out more? You cared enough to post, who are you trying to fool here? You are trying to mind your own business, but you just gotta know more than what she's told you?

How do you know it's not just a UTI or she might have an STD and she's a little embarrassed by it?

Just leave it alone. Stop posting about it, stop wondering about it, don't ask her about it.

MAYBE she's not pregnant but has the clap instead...that might account for the 2X daily pills for the next couple of weeks...

It's for sure not the morning after pill. Dosage timing and visit schedule sounds similar to a mifepristone script (RU486). If it is, shes basically getting a miniabortion (when its just an embryo). It's going to make her feel like shit (physically speaking) so you should probably be there without asking too many questions/passing judgment.

Here's the Mifepristone Dosage and Administration info via Dynamed:

Before administration, patient must read manufacturer's medication guide; both patient and clinician must sign patient agreement form.1 22 23 24

Remove any intrauterine contraceptive device (IUD) prior to administration of mifepristone.1

Regimen requires 3 visits with clinician: day 1 mifepristone administration; day 3 misoprostol administration (unless complete abortion confirmed); and day 14 follow-up examination to confirm complete pregnancy termination and to assess severity of any continued bleeding.1 22

May require medications for treatment of adverse effects (e.g., cramping, GI symptoms) after misoprostol administration.1
