On a side note. The Hospital can not release that kind of information to people who are not related. They can only release patient information to family members. One of my buddies (coworker) got into a terrible ski accident and the hospital would not tell me anything about his condition when I called.

Well I work in downtown Detroit in a very busy ER(as an ER nurse) that unfortunately sees exactly what you described on an almost nightly basis.
