blizzard warnings... and my snow shovel is broken. how fucked am i?
I'd consider going to buy a new shovel, but other than that, unless it's enough snow to completely cover your house and block all the vents causing you to suffocate from CO poisoning, I would not really worry.
Only thing that DOES suck about getting lot of snow is having to get up earlier to clear the car/driveway so you can get to work on time. That's probably the main part I hate about winter, the constant scrambling in the morning. Though since I work shifts at least I don't have to do that every morning, and when I work nights then I have all day to do it rather than scrambling in the morning.
If you have to leave the vehicle outside; place it at the end of the drive, just outside the snowplow reach.
Less shoveling to get going in the AM.
Another trick - put a large towel on the windshield, the night before. Makes it easy to get the snow off without stressing yourself or the wipers.
SEMI is soooo close to the blizzard warning area.. please bump up a little north!
