You guys don't understand, though there were relatively little snow, but you have to take into consideration the affects of black ice. Yes, it was that freaking cold in SoCal.

It also snowed in Malibu about 4 years ago.

I've had a few millimeters of ice on my windshield the last two mornings.

The article said it hasn't snowed in the SM mountains for 18 years.

The last time it snowed in Malibu was a little over 10 years ago.
I was gonna say that I remembered it snowing back when I lived in LA. It didn't last very long though.

I graduated from Pepperdine about 6 years ago, and I seem to remember it snowing once while I lived down there.

I could be mistaken though.

Explain how the vehicles in Southern California aren't equiped to drive on snow.

Probably means snow chains which practically no Southern Californian will have unless they're an avid skier or snowboarder.

Plus, Southern Californians can barely drive in rain, snow would be that much more of a challenge.

psh, I live in southern California and I drive with snow chains on ALLLLL year for the off chance once every ten years it snows and once every 30 years where it snows enough to matter. WOOOOOOO 🙂

Shens!

They're driven primarily by Southern Californians that's how.

That, and as I daid before, there are virtually no snow plows, salt trucks, or ANY snow removal procedure. Much of SoCal is also VERY hilly with nearly every route having a steep grade and a great many people living in the hills.

This has happened before.

Everyone is blaming odd weather on global warming when it was happening once or twice a decade before.

Anyone catch that wsj opinion this morning on global warming and how al gore is going to melt?
