Saturday forecast

Miami 49°F | 34°F

Orlando 43°F | 27°F

Tallahassee 41°F | 16°F

Any of you norther Floridians see anything yet? lol

lol bet it will be like 5 inches and people will be freaking out like it's the end of the world haha.

It is dangerous for two reasons:
1. They lack the equipment and training to deal with it.
2. Many drivers there have never driven in icy conditions and some of those think that they can do so easily, which makes it dangerous on the roads.

When I was stationed in Ridgecrest (do a search) it was said we only got snow once every 25 years or so.
As it happens I was stationed there when we did. Theres a photo of the last snow that occurred in the mid 70's and I was hoping to take a similar photo of the snow we got. Alas, when it came I completely forgot about it and never took the photo.
Will be an old man before it happens again.

You forgot the most important fact, most of them can't see over the steering wheel, or see, for that matter.

It snowed for about 30 minutes once when I was stationed in Jacksonville, didn't stick or anything but it was pretty odd to see snow falling on palm trees.

Mother Nature is going to deliver the One-Two punch to Florida - first, a deep freeze to kill off every living thing. Then, in the summer, the ocean levels rise & wipe Florida off the face of the Earth. 😛

3. They are all old

Sucks to be you!

It was in the mid 70s here today! I went out to dinner this evening with my wife and I wore a short sleeved polo shirt and jeans. 😛

We're not scheduled for any precipitation in Tallahassee, but the forecast is for lows of 18,16 and 21 for the next few days. Brrrr... It's just not right - not in Florida!
