I got a private screening of this movie last night...and it was awesome. Every time you wish the snakes would bite someone somewhere, it happens. Samuel L. plays the part perfectly, and the rest of the cast is hilarious. Some libations before viewing may enhance the movie ;)

Conclusion: Lived up to the hype!

8.4/10 on IMDB!!

WTF? Is this review a serious one? The overload of CGI in the film ruins it for me. I'd rather see Indiana Jones jump over REAL snakes...

I hope to god this movie breaks some kind of box office record. Ive rounded up over a dozen people to go and see it tomorrow, and it seems everyone else is doing the same.

I shall partake of several beers and wait with bated breath for the opening scene Friday night.

Wow, I am completely baffled by this.

Why all the mockery of the movie. You know it's gonna suck, why contribute to its success due to marketing genius.

Many, many people first got wind of this movie before any marketing took place, thought "OMGWTFIHAVETOSEETHISSHITE!!," then became elated when then found out others were thinking the same. Then the marketing machine took over.

I would be seeing this movie even if I hadn't heard a single thing about it other than the first trailer I saw ~6 months ago. It's $7 - it won't kill me.

My 10 yo daughter wants to see it, but I think the language and violence may be too much. I'll preview it without her. She doesn't usually get to see rated R, unless there is a good reason.

The name is about the only good part of the movie. You fail at understanding.

there is some nudity... i found the snake scenes to be comical, but i'm not sure how a 7 year old would feel.

My wife refuses to see it. I think I'll have to sneak off to an early Sunday matinee, instead of a Friday night Movie Grill visit. :(

Are you guys honestly wanting to see this movie that bad or do you just have to get the mystery hype off your chests?

I am going to go see it because I think it should win a best picture award.
