Big rebates always make me uncomfortable, even from an outlet like Crucial who has many proponents.

What should I do completely edit my post yet again to show newegg now? lmao..

It actually comes out cheaper at mwave by a little bit still if you use fatcash. 3% fatcash is almost $5.00. Which sorta pays for the shipping. If someone is from CA, youll pay more tax from newegg than at mwave also so.....

Might want to edit that post. Theres a newegg promo code that takes off another $30 bucks dropping the price to $85 AR! This is getting ridiculous!

I currently have 2GB Corsair Dominator XMS2 PC6400-C4D, but I think my revision on these is Micron, not Promo like most others....Anyway my default timings are 4-4-4-12 800mhz....

Having a 680i board...is it better getting rid of the Corsairs picking up the crucial and sacrificing the timings for speed, since these are 5-5-5-15...

I dunno to much about RAM and im not sure whats more important...but I hear that higher speed ram is needed for future applications.....and I want to be able to have a total of 4GB of ram...but I dont wanna have to buy 2GB more of corsair ram, if it isn't worth it.....

thx yah

I think I'm out of control.
That makes
4 GBs from mwave,
2 GBs from Buy.com and now
2 GBs from newegg.

Anyone want to buy a cat?

Yeah, I have my buy.com order on the way. If I refuse it, they credit me back, correct?

I wish that were true for mwave.

Shouldnt be $20 bro. Im from CA, it was around $13.00 tax for me. After $30 off coupon, it will lower tax a little. Use fatwallet link for 1.75% off, that will make tax more like $10.00. Not too bad. But ya, tax sucks

Do both the 6400s and the 8000s use d9gmh? It'll make me feel better about buying the one from buy.com

Wow! This is unbelievable. Just put in my order for $85 AR.

Thanks Fallengod. These sure are good times for upgrades.

Yeah the big rebate is holding me back. Maybe in a few weeks the rebate will be dropped since it seems they can sell it at this price. I would like the 8500 Tracers though as well...

Anyone know when that $30 coupon expires at the Egg?

Anyone else see 4gb (2x 2gb) coming down in price to go along with Vista's hunger for memory? Kind of like how 1gb kit prices dropped like a rock when 2gb became the "standard" for gaming/higher end PCs. Tempted to hop on one of these 2gb ddr2 kit hot deals for the new build I'm going to do here in a month, but also wondering about the prices of 4gb kits. Oh well I have 3 weeks or so to wait and see.
