If we abided by ethical principles, you wouldn't have half of the luxuries you have right now. Unfortunately, that is the truth. Captalism thrives on exploitation, not coorperation.

Why do you think we are playing Chinese men and women 35 cents an hour to make electronics that would cost $30+ an hour to make here.

Like it or not, ethics are only suggested. Why do you think we are the strongest nation right now? We didn't win land from the natives by living peacefully. Giving smallpox and typhoid laden blankets is certainly not ethical. Why do you think Microsoft is #1 or BP-Amoco is #1 or why Wal-Mart is #1? Ruthless competetion.

Sorry, but that is just how it is. Maybe in a kinder and gentler era, but so long as captalism rules, ethics is just as miscible as oil in water.

You are one sick puppy! :frown:

If we accepted your perverted view, Osama would be right, and we should burn the place to the ground because we would indeed have become the "great satan." Fortunately, I know far too many people who are successful in their businesses who disagree with you.

If you'd be kind enough to tell me the name of the company you own or work for, I'll be glad to boycott it on general principles. :|

Statisitcally, the vast majority of addicted smokers start in their early teens. Young teens are NOT mature enough to comprehend the meaning of long term addiction to life-threatening substances like tobacco, let alone accept responsiblity for such choices. That's why the laws for juvenile offenses are less, except in cases like this where we blindly and passively allow the corporate tobacco murderers to sentence them to pain, suffering, debilitation and ultimately, earlier deaths.

DEATH TO THE TOBACCO INDUSTRY!

Maybe you weren't when you were a young teen. Not surprising, given the drivel you have been posting all this time.

If a 12 year old is such a dumb fvck as to not understand the following:

SURGEON GENERAL?S WARNING: Quitting Smoking Now Greatly Reduces Serious Risks to Your Health.

He's a complete retard and is probably going to be useless the rest of his life anyway. If you insist on proclaiming an 8th graders innocence, their parents are equally irresponsible and stupid.

Liberals, sympathy for druggies, criminals, and beggars, but not the businessmen that run this country.

Do you support the legalization of all drugs?
