This is the cheapest deal I've seen for this router. Onvia has it for $99.99 here. Now add some paper clips for 10 cents here. Finally use the new $20 off $100 coupon with free ground shipping for a total of $80.09.

Ordered it from buy.com and got it today. Now i'm just waiting for my dsl company to set me up. Waited almost 3 months already! :(

I just installed this router last night---really nice!!! The whole process took about ten minutes!

Too bad the coupons expired yesterday!But buy.com will have coupons again soon and they have a great price on this router too.

how does this compare to the linksys one?? I just got one of those for my home (family) but need one for my dorm. Does it work well; and have support to pass specific ports to specific machines as needed?

Most reviews say that the Barricade is better than Linksys. The SMC tech support is freaking awesome... I needed it to get set up with earthlink DSL

Just installed this router today:) It rocks!! Took like ten minutes to set up my 98 and 2000 pc's.

c0pperas, I didn't need to do anything to get Napster working with the router. It seemed to work right out of the box.

Napster is not a problem as long as one of you is not behind a firewall. So, other user you are downloading from can not be behind a firewall.

I think the Barricade is much better than LinkSys. This model includes a print server, which turns any printer into an instant network printer. Drivers for Linux and Windows 95/98/ME/2000 too! Its awesome! Technical support is very quick and helpful too.

My only problem is that the connections on that sucker are ALL OVER THE PLACE

Quite annoying... you gotta hide it well.

To get Napster fully working forward the correct port to the host you run Napster on. For example -- I forward port 6699 to 192.169.1.101 (My 2nd computer.)

I agree they do put connections on all sides of it, but overall it's a cool switch.
