My post was intended to point out blatant migrated (from South America) thieves. Geez put your heads to work.
I have no idea what you just said
I am talking about all mexicans-who-have-no-money-that's-why-they-steal people which are abundant in my area. Got it that english plain enough

Give the guy a break. He did what he felt was right for him. A bike is never worth physical harm.
Reading your story it reminded me of what happen to me. I am half white and half asain. 5-6, 150lb and I am not very big. I went to the movies one weekend and a few guys (about 3 mexicans around (5-10- 6 foot tall) try to flirt with my girlfriend. When I came out of the restroom I saw them trying to touch her hand then they looked at me and laugh. I decided to ignore them. After the movie was over, it was about 12:45 A.M and I walked to my car with my girl. Walking out of the movie theatre, I saw those guys outside. I decided to avoid them. They started to say obnoxious things to me and threw some trash at me. Still I continue to walk to my car. I asked my girl to get into the car, then I went to the trunk and took out the my spare tire tool set and I had a bottle of pepper spray in my hand. I walked toward them and said, " Did I do something to offend you? If I did, is there a way we can fix this. " Then I gave them a face full of pepper spray and cracked 1 guy's head open. Then the other 2 ran while 1 was lying on the ground bleeding. I proceeded to spray him with more pepper spray then kicked his head in. Then I grabbed his head and banged it against the ground. He was still conscious so I took out the trash from a nearby container and poured it all over him. Then I got into my car and tried to run him over but he ran and got away.
The lesson I learned from that day was to always carry pepper spray and if any one throws trash at you or tried to insult your love ones. Give them a face full of spray and kick the living sh!t out of him. Ever since that incident, I have never lost my temper and have always remained calm and cool. I did however got probation for 1 year for the incident only because I was claiming self defense. You did the right thing because if you had beat the crap out of him, he might have stalked you and do physical harm to you and your family or you could have ended up in jail.
A bike is not worth getting hurt or killed unless you have a gun and a good lawyer. Everyone here flames you for being a coward but rather you be a coward then be a hero for a bike. Once again, a bike is just a bike but your physical well being is above all. You are safe and so is your family, you made the right decision.
By the way can I have your address?

Ok, so I was getting back from another house down the street at 11.55pm last night with my laundary clothes and saw one guy coming out of house where I live (It is kind of house with four apartments and garage) with a bike on his shoulders. And I know that this guy is not from one of those 4 apts.
I asked him what is he doing...he replies "I am taking my bike" And I was shocked and aggrevated, wtf, he was taking my bike. I argued with him for like 5 minutes. But could not attack him (because of clothes in hand).
Finally he just walked with my bike,:Q I called cops but they arrived like 30 :frown: mins after call and by the time he was already gone and lost.
He was like 5'5", 140-150 lbs and I am 6'0" 200 lbs and I think I should have attacked him![]()

Geez, leave the guy alone. I think he did the right thing. He had the right sense to stay calm at the moment and let it go. I know personally, my temper would have driven me start a fight with the guy. Win or lose, I don't know, but I know in the end I will probably lose when his buddies come back for revenge. A guy stealing your bike probably has a lot of friends and probably not much to lose either so going to jail may be a blessing for them. You might have kicked his ass that night, but you can be certain that he will come back to kick your ass soon, and you can bet your ass that he wont be coming alone. If you think getting your ass jumped over a bike is worth it, then more power to you. But if you have family also, then it is definitely something to consider. I have two daughters, and I have no intention of orphaning them over a bike.
some of you may even say, well i got friends too. well your friends arent going to be around you 24/7 to protect you. if they are, then you're probably just another worthless loser. go get a job.
