Slow moving drive thru!!!!

Trouble with the drive through is that it is a serial process while inside is a parallel one. If there's one guy, whose order takes long then everyone has to wait (though I've had them tell me to park and they'll bring it out). At the counter there are usually a few registers.

Wait it out. Any good manager will give you a free meal card. And if they don't, call the number on the receipt and get one yourself.

Also, your fries will be hot.

i was stuck in a taco bell drive through for 45 minutes one night when i got blocked in. if i'd have been driving anything that could do any sort of curb hopping i would have left, but my old car got highpointed on a curb one time.

Hehe, but you were thinking about it weren't ya?😀 I waited in line at TB only to be told "we're out of beef", huh, how the F does that happen?, I just drove off in disgust.

Most places have barriers so you CAN'T leave until the cars in front of you have gone through. At that point you might as well pay for the food you ordered.

Not around these parts.

I have it in my head that it's bad to stop and start your car all the time so drive-thrus it is. I hate that my local bank doesn't have a drive-thru ATM, but the one another mile away does. The Taco Bell here also didn't have a drivethru because of their corner location and very limited space so they actually packed up and moved a half block away to build one in. Drive-thrus rule.

I've never seen where they purposely barrier you in. Most times there's trees and or a curb because it's actually the side of their property already - fence or grass. I hate those curbs though because a lot of times it isn't particularly wide and if you have wide tires / spacers then you're going to curb your rim if not careful.

I think I've waited nearly 40 mins at In and Out's drive thru once. And you can't escape either.

That's why I always go inside the store (if possible), I hate burning gas to avoid walking 20 feet. Also you can check your order much easier than at the window where thoroughly checking your order would mean further delaying those waiting in line..

There was something about that In and Out (the one in Westwood, CA) that made it the slowest frickin In and Out known to mankind. Maybe it is all the college students making ridiculous orders, but the one in Hollywood was twice as fast.

ive driven thru their landscaping before. when im in line for over 10 minutes its pointless. i also avoid drive thru most of the time due to this.

Wow, you mustve really been ticked off at the service. LMFAO

Meh, just wait it out. I usually find that whenever I say "fuck it" and leave, my stuff is ready immediately after I'm gone.
