I want to know when they stopped teaching "driving" and resorted to only teaching "steering", there is a huge difference. I used to drive from the Bay Area to LA at least once a year for 15 years or so (about 400 miles each way). When you get on a road like that, I-5, which is a major trucking and traffic road you learn quickly. When people "flash" their high beams they are asking you to pull over so they can pass, thats all. It is not like they are saying "hahaha, you have a slow car and drive like a grannie.." It is a courtesy to pull to the right if they are driving faster than you are. That is why on any major freeway there are signs that say "slower traffic keep right"
I can understand in heavy traffic why you get upset if somebody flashes you, it is because they are an idiot. What are they going to do, get a total of three car lengths closer to their destination?? Flashing in traffic makes no sense, and they are looking for trouble.
P.S. If I am behind you flashing my red, blue, and strobe lights, please pull over (to the RIGHT) and don't slam on your brakes. Thanks.
