resolutions to this problem... stay calm as you tailgate him and blink your high beam and honk your horn constantly until he speeds up and change lane or you both getting into an accident
 
1) I flick my high beams...if the idiot doesn't get my drift...
2) I move slightly from right to left in within my lane...if that doesn't work and the right lane is clear...
3) I make a quick jerk to the right, jab the gas, then swerve in front of the jackass then speed off.

Works everytime 😉

Flicking my high beams is a signal for me telling you to get your slow ass out of my fuggin' way!!!😀 If you're going below the friggin' speed limit, you better get the f*&k out of the fast lane, that's for damn sure! They don't have the little "flick" feature for high-beams for nothin'😉
 
if you slam on your brakes you could cause someone to die...... i suggest not taking the risk and just letting them pass

When I'm the guy in the right lane going at the limit alongside to a car in the left and getting tailgated. I'm in a friggin rightlane. Leave me the Fsck alone or I'll spray you with my washer fluid.
 
And another thing. If I'm in the fast lane doing the speed limit (or a little over), and I see a train of cars coming up behind me that are CLEARLY going faster than me, I have the common decency to get the f&*k over (even if I have to duck between a couple of slow cars) to the right and let them through. THEN I get back over to proceed on my way.
 
I think I remember in driver's ed..they said that the far left lane was only for passing and you shouldn't
drive continously in it...

But nobody follows that ..

Don't do that 🙁. You risk getting rearended and that's no fun.

Flicking high beam at me in right lane is signaling me to smile at you through rear view, then flip the thing at bottom of my rear view mirror to let you know you're ignored.

Have you thought about making an illegal pass since you're already breaking the law by tailgating 😉

If I was in a Freightliner truck, I'd speed up to 15mph over the limit and let you tailgate. then SLAM!!!! slow down to legal limit. Who loses? probably you.

I learned earlier that even the sacred SUV doesn't stand crashing into Class-8 vehicles.

That's how it should be done but NOOOooo there has to be these "Kings of the Road" types that don't give a flying #%&/#"% about other cars... these people #=(% piss me off :|
 
In most states the law is to keep right except to pass. If a person is tooling in the left lane passing noone they are breaking the law.
(Mind you this rarely gets enforced but what else is new. 🙁 )

Like said, I pull over if I see cars approaching me.

I don't tail close enough for anyone to brake check me into damage, but if you do try to break check me rest assured you WILL be passed, even if I have to do it for the sole reason to piss you off/spite you.

Who says "driving continuosly" and "passing" are mutually exclusive? Some of us are "passing continuously" 🙂

edit😀on't get me wrong, I'll get out of your way just as soon as I'm past the slow lane traffic, however If you tailgate me, you WILL be brake tested and then we can play "tag" catch me if you can😎
