Slept for 15 hours

If I sleep more than 7 I feel washed out and listless the following day. A typical night is 6 to 7 and then I may grab a 20 minute nap before dinner. If you really slept 15 hours straight then there is either some underlying issue that is responsible for the long sleep and your ennui, or you just stayed horizontal way longer than you needed to.

I had to do a visa run. Extended my visa in Thailand for another 2 months.

I didn't see Rambo. Could have used his services.

Oh shit, woops, wrong country. Rambo's set in Burma / Myanmar. Something something ethnic cleansing in the movie.

Only thing I know about Cambodia is that the Ho Chi Minh trail went through there a few decades back.

Sounds like my college days... once slept 22 hours in a 24 hour period.

That was the semester I had to take an assembly language programming course...

The piles upon piles upon piles of hours that course sucked out of me, one point my natural sleep schedule had reversed and I was sleeping during the day, and awake all night. Made keeping up with other courses very tricky.

Sometimes you just have to sleep. Couple days you'll be fine.

I just slept for 15 hours, but I feel like sh*t. Plus, my back is in bad shape. Why? 🙁

Most likely little to no REM cycle and well - 15 HOURS of sleep.

A long healthy sleep 6-10 hours + REM cycles is practically a cure all. If you're able to achieve that consistently consider yourself lucky.

i slept 14 hours once, but that was during college when i stayed up 56 hours one time. now my daily sleep schedule is almost a preset 5 hours to wake up normally.

I worked night shifts at one time and it wasn't uncommon for me to sleep 12+ hours. And anytime I slept that long my back felt like crap.

Whenever I don't put an alarm clock I wakeup around 12pm, even later sometimes. Does not matter what time I go to bed. I've slept for like 15 hours at times because I went to bed early and was off the next day and did not set an alarm.

I feel like crap when I sleep too much though so I try not to do it. Wont accomplish anything that day either, just feel lazy and end up vegging on the couch or overall wasting away the time.

In undergrad I would usually sleep ~5 hours a day during the semesters, which would continue for a week or so into the break (a mixture of wanting to catch up on video games and becoming acclimated to relaxation). However, after the first week I then adjust to ~16 hours a day since I immediately get bored and have nothing better to do than have nice dreams. For a couple weeks into the new semester I'm geared up for studying and get a healthy ~8, but pretty quickly I get bored of that too.

I would kill to sleep that long. I literally have no idea what that feels like to be refreshed. I sleep only 2-3 hours a night. An hour on bad nights. It's like living with a chronic illness your whole life. Only you don't get to call it a name and have people sympathetic to you and understanding. (saying insomnia means nothing to people)

I've had insomnia before. Awful. About 5 years ago. I couldn't sleep for about 4 months. I lost 25 lbs. My doctor gave me clonzipan (sp?) And that fixed my issue.

That sucks if you have a medical condition.

I know an idiot who actually chooses to only sleep 2-3 hours per day because he's addicted to going through dumpsters for bottles. F*tard does it 7 days a week, 20 hours a day -- he's out the door within half an hour of waking -- and swings home for an hour for eating. He looks anorexic.

I feel good if I get 5-6 hours with my cpap. Without it, I'm still dead at 8 hours of sleep because there is no deep cycle REM.
