I still don't know what that means.

:colbert:

Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci were the Producer's on the new Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness

Which means nothing because Producers are Producers. They're also producers on Hawaii-5-0 which is trash, Transformers Prime which is terrible CGI garbage and Fringe - which was good but yea

They wrote both the first reboot and Into Darkness. Check out their writing credits. Some decent stuff and some horrible.

Given the subject material this will be beyond awful. However if Fox wanted to write me some checks to take a dump on a blank stack of paper I'd be hard pressed to deny them.

This will either be:

A) Well written and filled with smart acting.
B) A sorry piece of trash.

saw it. not bad 1st episode.

I expected icabod to be chased around town by the headless horseman for 1/2 the season and no one believes him.

glad they cleared that right up on the 1st episode.

meh points:
good + bad witch covens.
headless horseman weakness is sunlight.. like a vampire. what happened to the bridge he cant cross??
mysterious beast figure can open locked jail cells and kill people. why does he need minions then? why not just take the head himself?

now monsters will be the prelude to the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse.

hopefully it doesn't turn into kill the monster of the week, like they did in Voltron and Terminator TV series.
and hopefully this series doesn't turn into a Buffy remake with Sleepy Hollow the new Sunnydale?

A female cop was a witness to the killing of their chief (Clancy Brown), what better witness is there? Also John Cho (Sulu in Star Trek - reboot is a cop in the pilot. Orlando Bloom too.

Ya, I saw John Cho as part of the cast during preview trailers on TV over the summer... I was wondering how the hell he got a movie star whose career is on the up got attached to a network TV series.

When I saw "Guest Star" and his name under it at the beginning, I just knew. And when it shows him teaming up with the Horseman, there was an obvious how.

The four Horsemen thing is kind of weird, but it works and is kind of needed to make this show last beyond a few episodes.

I'm going to keep watching it.

Speaking of, f***, I can't stand Bones anymore. The characters have been irritating me for at least two seasons, but I kept watching. I can't take it anymore...

Wasn't bad. I liked the tie in to the 4 horsemen, but I don't see how they can drag this out over more than a mini series...

Loved that Starbucks plug, by the way... Very well written in. Not like a Toyota ad in Bones....

same thing could have been said about buffy the vampire slayer...

hm.. this season is only a 13 episode run?
I guess fox will greenlight the other 13 sometime this season, else the show dies?

edit:
oh Christ.. this series will be interrupted by baseball playoffs.
wasn't firefly killed off this way?

Is it a law?

Since it looks like any axe he uses becomes super heated, like the one that got stuck in the gravestone, I wonder if the bullets become even better.

I was rather disappointed by the fight scene in the beginning between Crane and the Not-So-Headless Horseman. :\

I saw it... It wasn't really good, but wasn't bad. I like the fact that they're facing the Four Horsemen and whatever that demon thing was.

If this is anything like the movie I'm gonna like it. Will see it online. Something has to fill the gap I now have after watching Under The Dome. LOL!

Okay, so obvious question is obvious...

If the headless horseman's head is still "alive", why can't it just look around and direct the body to where the head is?

I guess that would just make the show too short.

Totally believable. From the beginning when the cop lets the disturbed psycho in handcuffs sit up front with her in the police car to when she takes off his hand cuffs to do a little recon, to the end where the gruff but fair police chief teams up the young hottie with a wacko who claims he fought with George Washington.
