Slave outfit

It’s one of the most iconic outfits in Star Wars, and sci-fi in general: The metal bikini Princess Leia is forced into by Jabba the Hutt during Return of the Jedi. But it’s not without controversy—and Disney may be making moves to remove the skimpy outfit from future Star Wars marketing and merchandise for good.

Yeah, Disney and their hidden sex subliminal messages can suck it. What? You don't think Disney has subliminal messages? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8pfHGeGWb4

Disney is positively creepy in how they insert sex into kids' movies.

Edit: However, Who Framed Roger Rabbit was not a kids' movie.

Disney is not the only one that uses subliminal messaging. It's all over the place. Most people don't realize it though.

You never seen the cigarette ads printed on the bases of condoms? 😕

What do they say? "Smoke a pole"?

If you think about it, Disney has a vested interest in subliminally messaging adults to have sex, thereby having more kids, thereby increasing their target market. Adults often watch these films with their children.

I like this cigarette ad:

The wisp of hair on her face subliminally reminded me of the nasal oxygen cannula she will be wearing when her lungs start to give out. I'm sure that wasn't intentional though! That's going to make people want to quit! hahaha

And years down the road Disney will relent, claim it was a knee-jerk decision, release an XX anniversary edition of SL, and make millions in the process.

You turned this thread about babes into a babe thread, is that like a double negative?

Also LOL at anyone retarded enough to think Roger Rabbit was a kids' movie just because it had animated characters.

Good, Disney. Good. Maybe next you can replace all the lightsabers in the films with walkie talkies and the blasters with nerf dart shooters.

Blame Cattie Fisher. She told the new starlet to never wear a slave outfit. That scene is a big regret of hers, she felt it weakened the character.

Umm.... seriously? Disney had nothing to do with the slave outfit. That was over 30 years ago.

They should worry more about trying to keep all of their little starlets from turning into whores. Britney and Miley have done more damage to little girls than a bikini from the early 80s.

I am still waiting for when Wolverine has his claw replaced with... I dunno... feathers?

I doubt we'll see another game like X-Men Origins: Wolverine ever again.

this is as bad as the 80's obsession with condemning heavy metal lyrics for containing backmasked messages. along with the british voice to make it sound more reputable.

Looking forward to the Disney ROTJ digital remaster where they change Leia's outfit to a long sleeve shirt and khakis.

Disney can eat a duck. Hilarious how touchy we are about enslaving each other when it has been hardcoded into our DNA for thousands of years. What's next, edit the biblical Disney epic The Prince of Egypt to have Moses leading a herd of goats out of Egypt to a new pasture because the old one had been eaten up? Uhhh.

I'm pretty sure I've seen Leia toys that weren't slave Leia. I recall some where she was dressed in the robe and cowl outfit she wore in the opening scene of the first movie. It's not Disney's fault those weren't popular for obvious reasons.

Why don't women want to be sex symbols? I'd love to be a sex symbol. I know they want the image of a self-actualized and effective modern female to be at the forefront of our collective perceptions, but what they don't know is that I have already assumed they're all of that AND I DON'T GIVE A FUCK. The important thing is that they automatically get credit for everything they want, so why not be a sex symbol on top of that?
