I had to look into the comments, it seems some people get butt-hurt with the idea that in the story the man was previously a slave, and was recently free (due to the civil war, etc...) - and is now staying and helping out the family still that he previously lived with.
Why the fuck do people get so scared of the accuracy of history?

How did they link "elite liberals" to Disney, or that director, or that documentary? Beyond the general topic of gun culture, did anything they wrote even have anything to do with the trailer they posted?
Those are all rhetorical questions, because it's obvious that they didn't bother to do any of those things when they edited and reposted that piece (and even the original did little better). All they said was here's a documentary that wants to take away your guns and wipe its awful liberal ass with the Constitution because of a petty liberal conspiracy, and we were all expected to just take their word for it.
