Skyrim or Elder Scrolls Online?

Anyone played both? How do they compare? I really only have time for one or the other. Which is better?

Skyrim. So much modding has occuring adding in all kinds of additional content, classes, spells, skills, weapons, etc...

Well, do you want to play a single player RPG or an MMO?

Regardless even if you want an MMO, I'd suggest picking one other than ESO ...

Well one is a singleplayer and one is an MMO, Skyrim is a solid and fun RPG experience a bit further towards the causal end of the spectrum. ESO was a fairly mediocre MMO full of the typical grind and spiders. I find it hard to recommend any MMO these days.

Skyrim is ridiculously cheap these days and still a great game, especially with mods.

I play games to get away from people, so I would never play an MMO. Much prefer artificial intelligence over real idiots.

Skyrim is a far better game, unless you are looking for multiplayer content

ESO gets boring really fast when it comes to doing the solo content, while Skyrim had me interested easily for over 50 hours.

Skyrim all day long, there is so many great mods out there too now that its hard to get bored of that game, I keep finding myself going back to it time and time again

Why not both? They're both ridiculously cheap these days.

agree, Skyrim is a great single player game, and till Beth makes the next one, onde of the better singel player rpgs out there if you enjoy exploreing, and ESO while nothing new, compared to other MMORPG that have came out in the same timeframe is ok. The Quests in ESO are a bit more work then most MMORPG so there is some hate, ESO hankers back to not having quests with instruction sheets and map icons so you just "assemble as directions show". Now before everybody raises a stink, most are still cookie cutter , but a few are several steps and do take a small amount of thinking to complete (but these days that just means a trip to youtube, or your favorite hint site to read how to do) and I enjoyed that. But after 30 days it was pretty much the same as all the others, boreing. Upside 30 days inst to bad for the price.
