The ones I remember were just saved games so you juxt copy them to your saves folder. Some are just listed under the character mods. People tend to save those characters just at the sewer exit so you can modify them.

My saves folder in Windows 7 is located at

C:\Users\Your user name\Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves

The vanilla sewer exit save here should be easiest to use of those 4.

cool thanks man, appreciate it. I couldn't get that mod to work, couldn't get any to work actually (I downloaded another one to test it out). I think theres something messed up with my steam. I used that save and it worked pretty good.

Just don't overwrite that save and you can restart easily with a different character. That's how I've been doing it the last 5 years. Tried many races, skills, birthsigns for a different challenge. Right now I'm playing a Breton stealth archer/warrior (Atronach sign) who is forbidden to cast any magic, or buy/sell any armour & weapon. Skills: Armourer, Blade, Archery, Light Armour, Heavy Armour, Acrobatics, Sneak.

This is what's going to happen:

It looks great, but because having more than a single disc on the Xbox 360 costs publisher more, the world will be smaller than Oblivion was, because Bethesda isn't going to want to pay extra licensing for 2+ DVDs, so all platforms will suffer.

Later on, we'll get lots of paid DLC that adds more land mass and quests that were originally in the game, but were cut due to previously mentioned DVD restrictions.

Still looking forward to it, but with each game Bethesda releases, it becomes more and more obvious that they're an XBox 360 lead platform developer house.

I think this pretty much nails it . . . . and hopefully that is actual gameplay footage and not a Cinematic.

Finished Morrowind on the 360 soon after release, then Oblivion, then Fallout 3. Bethesda is one developer I feel comfortable spending $50-60 with.

Morrowind wasn't on the 360. The GOTY edition came out for the original X-box.

So the next game in the Elder Scrolls series: Skyrim was announced on thew VGA's Saturday night? So who here has actually finished an Elder Scrolls game? I was very into Morrowind, and Oblivion, but despite the countless hours I sunk into them I barely touched the main storyline, let alone finished them.

I've completed all Elder Scrolls games to date, most of them several times. Morrowind I've probably played through 10-20 times with a variety of characters, also completing pretty much every single side quest there is.

Oblivion kinda sucked (it's a dumbed down, sloppy UI, action-oriented mess) and I believe Skyrim will take the same dumbed down, sloppy UI, action oriented road to absolut nonsense.

Hell will claim all those who play on consoles.

I haven't looked at any Skyrim preview data, but you should report on how difficult it is to create a non-alien looking human with the char generator.

Put about 50 hours into Oblivion and finished the main quest; still have Shivering Isles....

Not sure if I'm going to play it as the combat in the game has been murder on my mouse hand...

I got pretty far in daggerfall, but bugs kept me from finishing the main quest. Never could get into Morrowind or oblivion.

On what had to be at least my 5th try I finally broke through and finished Morrowind.

Does anybody remember the jumbled quest log from when it was launched? It made it impossible for me to keep going. I didn't finish the main quest until the patch fixed it.

I also had the Redoran Stronghold. I still have that save somewhere.

Oblivion? Never could get into that one.

I never finished Morrowind the first time around, but I have been giving it another try running the enhanced graphics mods. The game is a ton of fun after all these years, and some of the Tribunal and Bloodmoon quests are really challenging at lvl 25.
