I admit even I am not immune from fashion disasters. Back in my high school days, wearing doctors pants was cool.

Heh, got nothing to do with fashion and everything to do with practicing without a license.

It's just a style. Some may think they are rediculous, some may like them. I think bellbottoms, oversized t-shirts, leather jackets, and and any type of vest (the most useless clothing article ever created imo) are retarded. Oh and I forgot skinny jeans, yeah, they are retarded too.

Yo! bellbottoms were the shit in the 70s! we could kung-fu fight and then go dancing without changing pants!

Dudes having the leg musculature of an anorexic 14-yo girl and showing it off is nothing new. You see, it's in the hipster/emo crowd now but that's only because they usurped it from the fratboy/bro crowd several years back. Back in the late '90s through mid-'00s the bros were the champions of misshapen legs. Back then though it wasn't the whole emaciated look that was cool. Oh no, they'd go to the gym and lift and have huge biceps and pecs (but not lats, delts, triceps, abs, etc.) and then really tiny chicken legs.

So, you see, hipsters are just being ironic by stealing the skinny-leg look from the bros who used to beat them up.

I do heavy squats on a regular basis... I don't i could fit into a pair if I tried.

I've been overweight for a while now and my calves are huge. Even if I lose the gut I doubt they will just shrink back to sticks. Suspect I will have to always wear loose fit or comfort fit or relaxed fit.

skinny jeans are not the best look ever on a guy imo. usually younger guys wearing them tho, so not really my crowd anyway.

They look horrible on both men and most women. No doubt that they'll look great on a woman with long, shapely legs but most of the girls wearing them are short and overweight.

Anybody here wear skinny jeans? I'm talking guys now, girls need not apply. What is the point? I think they look awful. They look terrible on skinny people and they look even worse on husky people.

Am I way off base here?

Girls on the other hand can wear jeans as skinny as they want. It works since they have curves.

bullshit! ive seen plenty of girls with these nasty, underdeveloped toothpick legs since they dont do anything but text on their phone all day. I dont understand how they can stand up with such puny legs that end in a bulbous torso.

JMapleton on here created a thread about buying $200 pairs of womens jeans (skinny jeans) a while back. Talk to him, he might be able to give you an explaination.

Then again, he is a the same idiot who pays a $500 annual fee for a credit card.
