Not a word...but the most overused phrases:

"Where can I get bulk <fill in> online?"

"10lbs isn't bulk."

"Altenator size."

I know it didn't start this year, but I am so F'n sick of hearing about "Blogs", "Bloggers" and "The Blogosphere" I could spit.

Main street, though that's more of a phrase.

I second the nomination of Joe the Plumber for most annoying non-Atoter of 2008.

Man.

The same most overused word and expression since the mid 1960s when "the man" represented the establishment and was responsible for oppression and stuff.

Man, I constantly catch myself using this stupid word, man.

And man, not to mention when it is also used in the actual context denoting a man, man.

Well, I finally saw Deadwood this past summer.
I'd say "beautiful being" is definitely on my list of overused words.
