So... A movie that has been released on DVD will be put on pay-per-view shouldn't have less issues than a network station preempting its programming for a documentary?

I'm not saying one documetary is more right(or wrong), but let's put a little logic into the argument.(unless Sinclair only owns pay stations, which I'll be the first to admit I know little about what Sinclair owns)

Only reason F 9/11 isn't airing on public stations is because Moore can't get the rights from his DVD publisher. This is a repost, btw.

I'm not surprised.(he essentially encouraged people to download it, so why wouldn't he want it on network tv?) But the fact remains, it's not going on a network station.

So, since he screwed up and signed a contract restricting the broadcast rights, his opposition should hold back their own film?

Did I say that? Did I say I'm for airing either documentary on network television on the day of the election?(or near it) No, I didn't.

If people want to see either documentary, go for it, but on network television during an election.(let's face it, either documentary can be considered an advertisement)
 
If this documentarty is ANTI-Kerry shouldn't it be seen as a campaign advertisement and be subjected to laws covering that type of media?

I hope someone sues them and sets them straight about the use of public airwaves.

Wasn't trying to infer that that's what you said, just arguing against it since many people have waged that argument already. I agree 100% - neither should be broadcast publicly. I think the consumer needs to have his say with the almighty dollar weighing in on what's actually a documentary and what's pure propaganda. I don't know anything about the anti-Kerry film, but I'd be willing to bet that it's mostly propaganda, just as F 9/11 is.

Good for the Kerry. Bush would say the same thing if they pre-empted the public airwaves with F9/11 before the election.

This documentary is not anti kerry. This documentary is about kerry, a historical documentary based on kerry's known public activities and public testimonies. This, the democrats do not want people to know.
 
Because risking your life to defend your country and then questioning about it is unpatriotic.

If Kerry was a true patriot, he would have dodged the draft entirely according to the rich priviledged kid commandments.
