If it is even close to telling the stories of Sin City, and not just to show off a bunch of stars, even if it is not a perfect retelling, it will indeed rock.Originally posted by: anxi80

It's not, I've only read one Sin City story, and I can tell its the one with Bruce Willis
and Jessica Alba in the movie. And from the trailer I can also tell it is not a verbatim
transfer, but close enough to not completely upset the "comics are for kids" crowd.

even if it is not a perfect retelling, it will indeed rock.

They listed him as director of Hero the asian fighting flick too and that had been out in HK for quite a while before. It's just marketing.Originally posted by: Modeps
Just saw this trailer, what's the deal with Tarantino being listed as a "guest director"? I dont get that at all.

"In conclusion, this is a wonderful and groundbreaking movie. I haven?t yet mentioned that the movie was shot entirely on green screen with the backgrounds added later via CGI. That?s because I didn?t even think about it while I was watching this awesome film. (There is only one part where it looks fake and that is when Elijah Wood has his arms and legs cut off. But I didn?t mind, because I can?t stand Elijah Wood and enjoyed seeing him dismembered anyway.)"
From an early screening:

The part about Elijah Wood sounds bizarre, yet funny.
