folks I have XP PRO running on an ECS K7S5A motherboard and I went to their website and downloaded the latest Bios flash and the AMI Bios Flash program
Now according to their Flashing instructions , they say to make a boot disk on a floppy and copy the flash writer and bios file to the floppy disk..ect, ect
Couldnt I just open up a DOS command prompt screen within Windows and run the flash utility and FLASH my BIOS then just reboot to have the settings take effect?
Can this be done or would this severly screw everything up??
