The errors were caused by a 32 bit wrapper instead of the 64 bit wrapper. They have fixed that problem and I am waiting for another WU. I'm anxious to see 6 cores working on 1 WU.

The 6-core Host still has problems. But they are no longer memory mapping issues. I have no clue!

The four-banger has processed 6 WUs for 300 credits. About 55 minutes per WU.

I think credits should be doubled to compensate for the credits that are not earned for the Edges@Home WUs that are suspended. They have a thread that is discussing this.

No word on when they will have new work.

They have work! I passed 6000 credits overnight.

TeAm is in 11th and TeAm RAC is 10th. (Just RT and Alyx)

Alyx, crank your box back up. Let's make it a race! The rest of you are encouraged to join in.

There may not be consistent work for a full attack by the TeAm.

In just 3 days I passed 14K credits.

5th in RAC and 9th overall.

PC is 2nd in RAC and 12th overall.

And the TeAm is 8th in RAC and 10th overall.

Only 2 teams have exceeded 100K.

Watch your back RT, I'm in!!:sneaky:

Welcome to the crunch! I should be easy pickings because I only have one quad on the project. The 1100T gets errors that haven't been resolved (others get the same errors, so it's not the box.) Seems to be working now!

My other quad is without video. I bought a replacement card yesterday, but I didn't read the package too thoroughly. It said PCI in big letters on the front of the box. I didn't see that it didn't have the -E. I'm going to exchange it today, if I have the time.

Catch me if you can!

Second Edit: I spoke too soon. The mdrun wrapper had become a zombie so it was using only one core.
Third Edit: I started a thread on their message boards to offer to run a debug version if that would help them diagnose the problem.

Got the six pack going. It overheated and caused the OC to become unstable. It's running stock for now. And I set up throttle-back, just in case.

I saw your post on the message boards. Quick response by the project scientist! :)

I've been running my 1090T at stock on Rosetta for quite some time now. I have had MB problems (GA-890FXA-UD5) with both LAN ports dying and instability/problems with video (GTX560) in linux (manually installing the drivers). Everything has been fine since I clocked back to stock and used ubuntu proprietary drivers. I may try overclocking again one of these days.

I got my 3rd box video card installed---a cheapo ATI that won't crunch.

I should increase my output by about 50%.

Do you think we have a shot at being the first team to 1 Million?

Or, should we recruit a couple more Linux boxes?

My i3 is crunching a WU in ~70 minutes worth ~64 points. Running it w/2 threads only.

That is ~140 minutes of CPU time though :)

That doubles its PPD vs MalariaControl, anyway...

Is it just my setup, or does it just go from 0% to complete?

Eight total cores in for the ride to 1M.

Yes the progress bar is not working yet for me anyway. Lost power some time today so just fired up all crunchers again! :)

Go TeAm linux!!

I saw on their message board that if you suspend and resume, the progress magically begins to work!

For the current WU or all WUs after?

EDIT: Doesn't work for me...maybe is Boinc version or kernel version dependent?

Looks like AMD cores are equal (or better) citizens here.

Thuban 1090t @ 3.4 vs SB i3-2100, CPU time is ~6,000 vs ~8,000 (smaller WU is ~6,400, most are 8k)

I have a small cache, ~4 WUs or so, but work seems to be steady.

We passed 100K as a TeAm!! :)

Great job!!! :D

hmm...

After some initial work, my i3 isn't getting any love. I've added to WCG also in the meantime, SimOne has pretty good weighting should it get back on the wagon :)

The Thuban is happily crunching along, though... Decent PPD as well.
