Welcome aboard Stitch! 🙂

Thanks for your help blckgrffn!

Thank you!

The more the merrier 😎

Welcome Stich!

I have been trying to figure out a way to get more CPUs on this, but save for buying more hardware I think I am personally tapped out. Good thing you guys have some good crunchers for the cause!

After we break the top 100 in WCG, I can dedicate my 555BE and 960T to the cause. Those are my only linux boxes. This is of course dependent on the weather. It gets above 75*F out and I need to keep those machines off.

I changed the progress bar in the title so nobody has to think!

Hah, that was pretty painful 😛

Sounds good, Uppsala 🙂

I'll likely have a two day break from this for the PrimeGrid challenge 😀

We are doing that, right? I was expecting to something from Ken already...

That's great Uppsala. 🙂

I'm in on the PrimeGrid challenge.

Thu 29 Mar 2012 02:58:14 AM MDT SimOne@home Message from server: Project has no tasks available

Thu 29 Mar 2012 03:51:46 AM MDT Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

I'm out of wu but have 3 wu to upload

Stitch

Maybe no one has noticed it is down. There is no notice on the message boards.
I placed a notice on the forum board.

Stitch

They are simply out of WU's 🙂 (I think - you did the right thing by asking)

4 Unsent, ~300 in progress right now 🙂

I did have that same error - I couldn't connect to the server with one of my machines. I don't remember if it was the reboot or project reset that got it back in business, though.

Safe to say we'll be the first to 1M as long as they have some work to do. It would be hard for another team to make a run at it now...

I sent a email to the Sys Admin.
Of wu server being down.
On mine it didn't accept an upload of 3 wu also so maybe its not out?

I've been submitting WU's successfully all day so far as I can tell... Like I said, I did have my i3 2100 rig get "disconnected" somehow and had to reset it to get things flowing again...

My 3930K has not been uploading or downloading WUs all day. I shut down and restarted the boinc manager and all seems ok now. Weird 😵

[/SIZE]Excuse me, my error to not post this problem anywhere visible in the site. This is the simple solution:

The problem is probably the IP of our server. The IP is not static, but dynamic and so sometimes it changes. Boinc client is not able to correct it, so you have to restart the client to refresh the IP address.
The problem will be solved with the new server we are installing which will have a static IP address.

Ah, that explains the problem. 🙂

In just over 6 hours I'll be switching over to PrimeGrid for the 2 day race. After the race I'll come back for the quest for 1st team to 1 million. Hopefully some of the crunchers from the french team will also move to the PirmeGrid race too. :hmm:
