Silver cars...

I bought my car in silver because:

1. Good deal
2. Doesn't scream at the cops (I'm young)
3. Still looks good.

I got mine in silver because of the whole hide dirt thing. At the time, I had never actually seen a silver Dakota on the road. After I got mine, they started showing up everywhere and it's almost uncommon to see one as NOT silver.

I saw a 350Z in a color other than silver once.

...just once though.

LOL, so true. When I purchased my 370Z in Blue, I had to get the car from 3 states away! All the Z's in town (350 roadsters and 370 coupes) were either black or silver. Booooring! 🙂

Silver = boring.

But it's not as bad as that "champagne" color that seems so popular, barf.

Black or white = win (most of the time) 😛

My car is silver...never been pulled over in it in the almost 7 years I've owned it. I swear, it is invisible to cops.

That said, my next car will not be silver.

if things stay the same in my area.. my next car may be a red 2004 GTO. with a sexy red/black interior. mmmmmm.

Our PT Cruiser is silver for the dirt reason. I hardly ever wash that thing but it always looks fine.

My Mark VIII is Toreador Red (deep mettalic red) which is pretty catchy, but I've considered painting it black because Lincolns should be black. That's just fact.

I don't care much for silver colour cars, but can't stand look at me red/orange/yellow, or black with dark tinted windows. I also don't like purple, or dark green on a car.

Most cars look good in silver and most people have bad taste so it is the safe option. I would rather have a boring car than an ugly one.

What are you looking for? I like silver personally because it hides dirt (and I don't want to wash my car every week).

Black (or carbon black as they like to call it) with red leather
Estroil blue
Gunmetal grey with red leather
The other kind of blues they offer

I'm fairly open to any colour option that isn't silver or the phoenix yellow

I'm just not a fan of silver, there are just so many about and it's not for me. I have a 'moon silver' S2000 with red leather, yeah it's okay but I'm not a fan of the colour. Got the car because of the mileage and cost.

The Metallic Ice Blue on my car is nice, it's not silver and its not dark blue so all the benefits of silver(including hiding dirt and avoiding cops) without all the hassle of a dark colored car.

I like dark red - burgundy - on cars.

I flew to Houston to buy my Chili Red Metallic over parchment interior with 6spd manual trans and drove it 1800 miles home.

Not a fan of black, silver, or gold. The dark silver (gunmetal) is starting to grow on me.

Gunmetal is another colour choice I like :thumbsup;

I'm more of a fan of either a light blue or dark grey for cars. Silver is just too...boring. White is too hard to keep clean and black is a pain as well.

I was tempted to buy a silver car when we just bought a new car for my wife...she had a silver car and it was very easy to keep up. But we both like Black so much more (I've owned 2 black cars already)...so be bought another black one.

People would probably argue that black is just as boring as silver...just harder to keep up...but I still love black cars.

Ehh ... I've got a blue car now, color of the car isn't THAT important IMO, but personally, I dislike white, green, purple, tan, gold, brown, light grey, silver and beige colored cars... Favorite color is probably black, though I do like the blue I've got now for a change.
