She gave me very specific hardware requirements in the email... thought you might get a kick out of this... 🙂

Spec out as uber a laptop as is available and show her the cost and say that you'll need management's approval. 😉

if by "portable" you mean "weighs 50 pounds and is encased in a giant aluminum power and is as portable as your extension cord" then yes.

as for the wi-fi speed, you could hit that with a coupla AMD (and V-TEC) stickers next to the antenna, no problem.

There was no mention of a battery in the requirement.

It has some PCI slots as well so you can through in a 10 Gigabit network card in there.
