So if all that is correct, what happened to Alessa's body. What I don't get is that she was burned badly but still alive and this was when she was a young child. However, in the scenes, she is a full grown person (still mutilated from burns). Is that only in the "hell" world? And where is her real body in the real world? Has it already been dead after she made a deal w/ the devil?
And how come Alessa's mom could stay outside of the church when all the demons popped out?
And who or what was the big guy w/ the triangle metal head and big sword?
The Pyramid Head is one of Aleesa's constructs from her nightmare. Alessa's nightmare changed a lot of the undead into demons for her pleasure. The Pyramid Head
is a little special however from the rest...His head is covered like a hellish executioner (if you ever seen 1700's movie) when the people got beheaded the executioner would never show his face. In this case, the pyramid head is Aleesa's constructed executioner. Remember that a executioner only performs what he is told to do! By who? Maybe someone other than Alessa....
Alessa's full 14 year old body is just another projection of herself. Cheryl is seven, the same age that Alessa would've been when she lost her normal life. If you read my above post you would then see the connection. There isn't really two girls in the movie, but the same girl with different projections of herself. Cheryl is just a regressed projection of herself. This is how some people who suffered such trauma cope with the pain -- projecting themselves as another person or life.
Aleesa's mom, Dahlia is actually the real villain in the movie. She plays everybody, including the cult, as a puppet in the movie. She also played the audience as a puppet too. The cult wasn't really the root of the evil, but Dahlia the mother herself. She was casted out of the Cult as a non-believer while she used her child as bate for the cult to burn. Dahlia knew the abilities of her child (to manifest dreams and create a hell or heaven) and that the only way that she could possess or control the power is to force it through suffering of the child. This is when key terms I mentioned in the above post comes into play. About Regression, Astral Projection, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. And by the way, Alessa does not make a deal with the devil....
