Some good tips for you:
1. You become a golden member by the number of posts that you personally have made (you are at 392 right now). Posting worthwhile topics or getting people to view and respond to your topics has nothing to do with it, sadly.
2. You do not need line breaks every other word in your posts
3. Your posting style comes off as attention-seeking, which can make you seem like a returning member (against the rules) or a troll. Either could get you banned; you could also just develop a reputation for being an attention-whore and get ridiculed in every other post. Not a pleasant experience for most people.
If you want to get to golden, I suggest you find some threads that interest you and contribute constructively. Better to be recognized for having something worthwhile to say than for having nothing to say and saying it repeatedly.

Oh, and copying other people's signatures doesn't make for a good sig; find something unique and interesting.

ahh never watched. so you've met him i take it? when i was in vancouver one year i saw jim byrnes (joe) at a mountain resort (can't remember which one.) i wanted to get his autograph but i chickened out

Haven't met him but I'm familiar with his bio and the stuff he's worked on the past. He's a good actor, but often gets cheesy roles like on Sanctuary.

Just a tip for you, ganesh1: try and type out your posts more as if you were writing a letter rather than IMing or texting a quick message.
Proper grammar and punctuation make threads easier to read. I am not saying that you need to be perfect or anything, just give more consideration into how you format your posts. People tend to judge your posts (and you) in a negative way if they think you don't know how to communicate effectively on the same level as most of the posters here.
You don't have to care what people think, of course, but it still helps readability to think before you post
